Episode 34: What Happens When We Start with Thanks(giving)?

Optimism + Gratitude

In the November episode, the hosts discuss the importance of gratitude in your everyday perspective. Owen brings to the podcast research studies showing the connection between being grateful and being happy. Chelsea talks about her friend, Riley Banks, and her business Woke Beauty.  Woke Beauty’s mission is to photograph, celebrate, and “awaken the beauty within” women. Chelsea also shares Riley’s story of how she remained grateful despite having to change her wedding plans in the midst of the pandemic. Andrew proposes the original Thanksgiving dinner could have been in Texas, and although the origin might be up for debate, the message remains the same.
