Practical Optimism

Give A Little Optimism

Since 2018, The Texas Optimism Project has worked to inspire optimism through storytelling. We’ve seen firsthand how optimism can impact a community and bring people together during trying times. Amidst the unprecedented circumstances brought on by COVID-19, we want to continue to spread optimism throughout the great state of Texas.

Is there an extraordinary Texan in your community that may need a dose of optimism right now? We are putting together Optimism care packages for those in need of some self-care, encouragement, and positivity. This care package will include a grab-bag of fun, creative, and personal care items that will surely bring a smile to the face of someone in need.

Items include a gratitude journal, self-care guide and essentials, optimism postcard set, a Texas Monthly digital subscription, and much more!

Do you know a family member, friend, coworker, community leader, or health care professional that you think could use a smile? Brighten someone’s day by nominating them to receive an Optimism care package, courtesy of the Texas Optimism Project sponsored by Frost Bank’s Opt for Optimism initiative.

Nominations are now closed. Thank you for your submissions! Nominators and recipients will be notified via email if selected.

Please continue to share optimism with family and friends!
